Looking Forward to 2006

New things to look for in 2006:

  • Electric/hydraulic motor was put on the eliminator to power the slam pad. Tested in Ripplinger and seems to work good. We also have a slam bar on the dirt pan but have not tried it yet.

  • The new scale is done and we've had some good comments on it. We should thank Central City Scales for the components.

  • A lot of new sponsors on the eliminator this year. Lets give them a good show.

  • The club will be changing its name to Central Wisconsin Pulling Association for technical reasons.

2006 Board Meeting Notes:

There are a few changes to the rules which the board has proposed upon. Please take a moment to review these.

  • The 50' leeway has been changed to 75'. This is only going to make things better for everyone.

  • We will be allowing pullers to enter more than one class, as long as you are legal for that class.

  • Having some troubles last year with the pull track boundaries, we have designated that the inside of the cones are the boundary lines.

  • All machines will have a maximum length of 10 feet and a maximum wheel base of 8 feet.

  • To all 4x4 classes. All weight must be hung as close to the front of the machine as possible. No extended weight bars allowed.

  • Exhibition pulls are allowed if time permits.

  • Must be a member of the club to participate in the traveling trophies.

Points/ Results

We are going to keep points again this year for any club member competing in any class. We'll use the same method we used last year. We had some very nice plaques the last two years and would like to keep up the effort. I will make a page to post last years results and 2005's soon.

 We've got plenty of room on the Photo Action pages for all kinds of ATV pulling pictures.  Please forward action shots, pit shots, or even goof-off shots to me at;
